Bruce Pun is classical guitar professor at the Macau Conservatory. He graduated from the Macao Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor degree in Music Education. As a drummer, he studied with Yip Sai Wing, drummer of the famous Hong Kong band ‘Beyond’. He studied jazz guitar at CMA Music School in Hong Kong and learned many instruments at Conservatory of Macao such as saxophone, classical guitar, pi-pa and other musical instruments.

In 2001, he won the Macau Youth Music Competition recorder ensemble first prize, and in 2004 Macau Youth Music Competition Classical Guitar first Prize with Honour. In 2004, he went to 'Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris' to study classical guitar, where he was awarded an Artist Diploma. During his time in Paris, he composed many kinds of music, and regularly performed jazz with Toast Club in Paris. He was invited by the French Plume Noire Publication to compose a duo piece for guitar and cello called ’Pas de Desire’.

Bruce is frequently invited to compose and perform for the Macao Arts Festival. His composition <MY FADO> got the most popular song of TDM's 2014 Music award. In 2015, he was invited to compose movie soundtracks for “Colorful Love" casted by Ms. Hawaii Wong, a famous HK movie star. The theme song "You Are So Beautiful" was performed by his band. He has also published his own guitar Suite " Bi Wu Classical Guitar Suite”. 

Bruce served as music director of the Drama "Medicine" and has collaborated with several productions, including "Si Chun Good Woman“, “Dead Wall”, "Feng Feng”, “Love Letter", “Idiots Family”. His albums include "NOW PEACE”, “Experience of Experience” and "Pegasus lesson”.

Bruce is currently engaged in music education in Macau and is a classical guitar tutor at the Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College.
