Felicity Cheang is a Clarinet performer, educator and music lover. She started her music training from early age with piano, and graduated from Macau Conservatory of Music as a full time student majoring in Clarinet, mentored by Ms. Luo Qi in 2015.
In 2019, She received her Bachelor’s in Music Performance at Wright State University in Dayton Ohio, majoring Clarinet under Professor John Kurokawa, and she earned her Professional Performance Certificate at Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania, studying under Dr. Anthony Costa in 2020. Besides several clarinet solo recitals and chamber recitals during her time in university, she also performed while she is a member with Penn State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble of their tour to Carnegie Hall in 2020.
Over the years, Felicity has participated and being named in school competitions, in 2017, she was named alternate winner of WSU’s Concerto/Aria competition, in 2018, she was named one of the Winners of WSU Daniel Tse Concerto Aria Competition, and 2nd Place of WSU Young Artist Scholarship Competition.
