Mezzo-soprano Keri Mak started studying music in 2009 at Macao Conservatory Music School under Professor Liu, majoring in Bel Canto. In 2012, she entered Central Conservatory of Music to study under French trained Mezzo-soprano, professor YuanYuan Sun. During her master degree program, Keri accumulated a wealth of experience in both solo and chorus performances and completed her master graduation concert with distinction. In 2020, Keri graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music with Bachelor and Master degrees in Vocal Music Opera Direction.

A versatile musician, Keri is fond of many other music styles aside from Classical music. During her studies, she participated in the Musical Club and had been invited several times to perform songs from musical theatre. In 2016, Keri established the Acappella group “HEXA” with 5 other schoolmates from the Central Conservatory of Music. HEXA held 3 concerts in its first year and was awarded First Prize of the West District Chorus Competition in Beijing. In the same year HEXA was invited to participate the stage drama <The Importance Of Being Dedicated>; Keri performed in this stage drama and made all 27 appearances in both Beijing and Shanghai. Keri was also invited to perform Vivaldi《RV589》at St. Dominic's Church Macau as Solo Mezzo-soprano in 2018. 

Keri is now based in Macau and works at the Macao Polytechnic Institute as a vocal music teacher.
