Mike Che graduated from the Department of Music at Soochow University, Taiwan, majoring in Piano Performance under Professor John Vaughan, with a minor in Vocal Performance. During his studies, Mike deepened his knowledge in core subjects such as keyboard harmony, music history, and piano literature, while mastering piano pedagogy to establish a solid theoretical foundation for teaching. His vocal training and experience as a member of the university choir enhanced his musical expression and emotional interpretation, alongside elective studies in music psychology to broaden his artistic depth.
To thoroughly understand the instrument's acoustic principles, Mike pursued specialized training in piano tuning and has completed Level 1, continuing his studies. This knowledge allows him to analyze the relationship between key mechanics and tonal quality, guiding students in developing nuanced tone control skills.
Mike holds the ABRSM Piano Performance Diploma (ARSM) and has successfully presented two solo recitals during his university years, accumulating rich stage experience. He integrates performance theory with teaching practice to provide comprehensive piano instruction, helping students establish a strong foundation and discover their individual musical potential.
