Thomas Iau is an active saxophonist and music educator, combining strong performance skills with teaching experience. He has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in concerts such as “Winds of Saxophone” and the “Amazing Winds” series by the Macau Band Directors Association, as well as spring, autumn, and graduation concerts at MPU. He has also participated in masterclasses with the Asia Pacific Saxophone Academy, Amigo Saxophone Collective, and Syrène Saxophone Quartet.

In education, Thomas has served as a part-time music teacher at Escola Tong Sin Tong (Macau), assisted school bands, and taught one-to-one lessons, known for his patient, structured approach that nurtures musical expression and motivation.

Looking ahead, he continues to pursue excellence on stage and in teaching, inspiring young musicians through performance and education.
